One Time For The Motherland Posse Track

FEATURING:
DASH CALZADO
RON THUG
JO ILL
MIKE KOSA
PINO G ABENTURERO
RJAY TY OF LDP

Rjay Ty:
One time for the motherland tayo'y magkaisa
Makisama di naman kailangang makisindi ka
Makitawa halakhakan, makibaka pag kailangan
Kapag di ka sumabay sa uso di yon kasalanan
Sumunod sa liwanag ng araw at ng tatlong bituin
Di mo na kailanman kailangan matakot sa dilim
Kahit na anumang hadlang ang humarang sige parin
Ganyan talagang dapat mong gawin upang iyong marating
Kung ika'y magaling, ika'y magaling paikutin man o baliktarin
Huwag lilimutin ang dapat dalhin, abutin ang gusto at ang nais kamptin
Tulungan ang iyong kapatid huwag kang sakim, sakit ay pagalingin
Magandang balita'y dalhin iparating, ang masamay puksain
I'm steadily feeling the Phunk, no I ain't drunk, sober and ready to pump
The music you heavily bump yeah here we come, LDP, Mighty Joe Young
Reppin' with every beat of the drum, stepping on enemies dropping them bombs
Fire in my lungs never enough the revolution has only begun!

Back When We Didn't Even Know What Fillers Were

This is the first LDP track that was recorded in a studio, UNITED (Wag Magpapagiba), produced by B-roc of Turbulence Productions back in 2008.

All three of us were so excited to step in the studio to be able to record our song with professional equipment. We even acted like we knew what we were doing even if we really didn't. I remember B-roc asking us if we were ready to record our fillers and we said yes. Then as soon as the beat started to play in my headphones I repeatedly recorded over my verse. Haha! That's how I found out what fillers are. Thanks, Bigbro!

Crazy how time flies. Mad proud of my brothers. UNITED. LDPeace!

"Don't give it up, give it up! Just keep on fighting
for the hope and the love let's stay united"

Just cause we make a living out of what we love to do does not mean that we're less responsible than you.

In The Kitchen with The Baker

For those who do not know: Jim Poblete aka The Baker is a good friend of LDP from back in the day. He is also the brainchild behind the beat of Here To Own It. And I am happy to say that I am now once again working with Mr. Poblete in the lab which he calls The Kitchen.

We just caught up 2 weeks ago and on the same night we instantly recorded a track called BANG which will be the 1st track to our spontaneously thought of mixtape entitled "Room Temperature". Aside from recording Jimbeezy brought Aiks and I to this cool spot in Mandaluyong called Kanto Freestyle Breakfast where we got to chow down right after recording  around 3am. Tuyo with Kesong Puti? BOMB.

Expect more sessions with The Baker in the next couple of months. BANG!

Ian's Birthday Double Drop

The WIP Cats came through to bring some fun at The Deck of Ronac Art Center two Saturdays ago to celebrate the birthday of one of their top cats Ian Sermonia and at the same time the release of their Nick Automatic Glider and MNL Tondo @ UNSCHLD.

It's good to have events going on at the deck again after being reported to the brgy office by some residents around the area for being too loud. You just can't kick out the life of the deck. News is we are about to soundproof the deck so that we can turn it up on full blast next time. Haha! Anyway it was a fun night and there were performances by Toney Chrome of 187 Mobstaz, Tondo Tribe, Tempes, B.A.M. and yours truly. I shared 2 new tracks from my upcoming mixtape with SPNZ called Hit The Spot. Something that y'all should watch out for in the next few months.

Rjay Ty x Ron Henley x SPNZ Hits The Spot

I have been recording more often lately at The Spot with SPNZ and DJ Buddah as I am currently working on 2 projects for the past couple of months. One project is a mixtape that I am collaborating on with SPNZ which is entiled HIT THE SPOT and the other project will be my 1st album as Rjay Ty (That's all I can let you know as of now).

I am proud to say that the 1st full length track that I delivered in our native tongue is a part of HIT THE SPOT entitled PUYAT which features one of the best song writers here in the Philippines, an artists that I looked up to, none other than Stick Figgas' very own Ron Henley! Watch out for more updates regarding HIT THE SPOT. This is mad exciting!

DOIN' IT IN THE PARK Screening @ Ronac Art Center

Last Saturday, Ronac Art Center's Playground was blessed to have housed the official screening of DOIN' IT IN THE PARK. A film about New York City's Streetball culture by the legendary Bobbito Garcia aka. KoolBobLove and Kevin Couliau his partner who effectively helped in making this film feel like we were inside the cages of those park basketball courts in NYC. Mad props to Titan RSA for making this happen! Finished off the night by kicking it with friends at Franco's place for his 20th birthday. Good food, good people, good music, good vibes, mad fun!
