Vision of a Hustler LYRICS

VERSE1: Aero
Oh yeah, it's the good life
A handful of the homies still rep the hood right
A middle class citizen with a pen again
And a pad again with a new rap my friend
Taking hits, taking sips but we don't trip
Just don't mess with us and we won't trip
My family and friends is what matters most
So, I make my mark in music and I'm ghost
What's funny is I'm the one who never made it
Almost famous, got the game penetrated
The truth hurts that's why some don't admit it
'Cause the grind on their mind is so addictive
Chasing dreams, reaching goals though
Cause I still make music for the soul yo
I'm a do me, so don't you worry bruh
That's the verse, this the hook, now turn it up

CHORUS: Rjay
I got my eyes open wide
And they're never gonna close
Not until I reach the top that is a hustler knows so
Tell me why
Why you tryna pull me down
I am never giving up holding it down for my town

VERSE 2: Rjay
The streets of Manila nothing realer that's where I'm from
We working day and night you better recognize, holmes
We hustle harder than White Man Can't Jump
Defense ain't no chump even MJ can't dunk
No room for slacking here yo these visionaries don't sleep
Putting work before the word is out the humble don't speak
I see how weak you are via the way you brag
Talking smack, I spit fire while y'all barely release gas
So you wanna stand a chance you better step it up
Cheddar cheese spread it well to be able to stack it up
Back it up cause empty promises wouldn't cut it
Want your thousands to be millions better multiply your hundreds
Cause that there is cheap change no time for the weak lames
Heat game? You ain't got nothing on me I speak flame
Poet that's deranged and I'm all about my bizz
Put your money where your mouth is seriously I never kid

(CHORUS)

VERSE 3: Aero
I try to be the best, so I could see success
Hard work pays off so I don't need to rest
Don't sleep, my network got long reach
On beach, with a cool brew in the warm breeze
Paradise life relaxing with my peoples
All my dogs doing it big, I see you
Paradise life relaxing with my peoples
All my dogs doing it big, I see you

Think We Could Make It To The Top?

My 1st music video entitled Catch You just entered MYX's Pinoy Myx Countdown at #20. This track of mine features the lovely June Marieezy and is produced by Bojam of FlipMusic. The music video is directed by Dominic Nuesa and it features one of the best local graffiti artists that we have Ms. Korina "KOOKOO" Ramos and one of the best local dancers out there Mr. Cort Catajay.

We decided to come up with a music video with a story which concerns psoriasis. (Oh! Check out the prosthetics and make up by Camille Regala. They look so real!) We wanted it to be more of a short narrative rather than a music video. Watch the clip below to be able to understand and fully grasp what I'm trying to type down.

REGISTER THEN VOTE FOR IT HERE. (Upper right corner) Spread the word! IT'S ALWAYS WORTH A SHOT. Thank you!

Beats Per Minute @ Quantum Cafe

I'm sure by now you've heard about the 1st ever Beat Making Workshop we are doing! We have limited seats left! Dont miss out on the chance to become part of it! Interesting discussions and learnings are being prepared as we speak. The beat makers/producers community we have is something we should enrich! Please help spread the word! I bet all the rappers out there would want to nominate a friend or two to learn. Beat making is the cornerstone of any indie label, invest in your sound! Hiphop if also educational! Allow us to push you to your limit!

I remember being present at the old FlipMusic Headquarters back in East Avenue when Loonie, Klumcee and Rude Boy arrived to record this track. There was only one word to describe how I felt after hearing Loonie's takes on the track... GOOSEBUMPS.

FFF (Freakin' Free Fifty) by Rjay of LDP LYRICS

I gotta switch it up a bit, build it up like The Community
Truthfully the reason why I do this is for you and me
We gotta keep it moving for the culture to survive
Let me move you through these words I spit that I bring into life
While I breathe I kick it live every opportunity grabbed
Unraveling raps receiving high fives, props and daps
Though I get love from fans these haters bringing me down
My spirit is never broken stay positive with the sound
No time for clowning around with eyes locked on the crown
An illegitimate king in the game, ILL-K locking it down
I stay grounded but high, I lay down just to rise
Higher than the sun tomorrow when I open my eyes
To keep the future brighter as long as I’m alive
Won’t sleep until achievements are reached I’ll keep on striving
Be the one that’s climbing peaks higher than mountains
Teach what I’ve picked up and speak for all the silent
Seek for undiscovered knowledge deeply buried, leak it
To share with everyone willing like languages to speak it
If we are on common ground you are a brother to me then
Real talk is what I speak nothing above it or beneath it
Which is why all y’all should listen, lifting spirits, souls have risen
Dropping knowledge, sharing wisdom, keep on kickin’ it stay driven
Flowing infinitely giving while I hold this flame with visions
Never seizing, never resting, never giving up my mission
The torchbearer on the frontline, no one else here got the guts
To bust fire with the desire to kill alibis and buts
No excuses in these raps let the facts speak for themselves
Resonating one voice and elevating oneself-
Esteem to build up courage and confidence that’s inside
Find it and it’s yours forever it’s within your heart and mind
Don’t let anybody break it only your decision counts
Don’t be blinded by the money seriously there’s no amount
That would compare to its value more than silver more than gold
More than diamonds more than platinum more than what your hands could hold
Motivation is the key inspiration’s all around
Success is best achieved when your true self you have found
Heaven bound everything is upon reach
But don’t forget to stay grounded right within arm’s reach
My songs speak to every single person in the world
Every man, every woman, every boy and every girl
Every father, every mother, every brother, every sister
Everybody listen up we gotta break free from the system
You don’t want your son and daughter prisoned by materialism
Chained by superficial fiction, paying with pain and affliction
As a parent in the future that would kill me down inside
Wouldn’t have the guts to watch my child suffer see I would rather be blind
Knowing that I could have prevented it simply by writing down songs
Right in the palm of my hands it’s as if I just detonated a bomb
Better be calm dropping the arms hoping this works although it’s risky
Remember the name it’s Rjay who dropped that Freakin’ Free Fifty

We will be releasing the Remix of FFF with a beat sampled from Paul McCartney and Wings by Bojam on Feb 8 at 5pm. Spread the word! LDPeace!!!

This track has been heavily rotating on the radio and on your ipod's playlist. Haha! One of my favorite tracks from the mixtape because of how it sounds so different from the tracks that I've worked on in the past. If it sounds different and good at the same time then I believe that it represents growth. It's a good thing!

"I love the way that you came in without a warning"

NOTE: We're currently working on the music video for this song. It's gonna be epic I tell you.

This is track # 17 from the mixtape. It's the first international collaboration that I did almost 2 years ago with the homie Vaughn who was previously a part of a massive hiphop crew in Dubai called The Recipe. Vaughn is currently in Europe and deep into production. Watch out for more material from Vaughn and I! This is definitely not the last of it. And yeah have I mentioned that I have 2 international collabs on the mixtape itself? You better get ready!

"Clock's tickin' now making every second count

make the crowd go loud, hit it hard go blaow!

Bow down to the kings of the sound

we'll just keep elevating and never go down"
